Our Story

Nordic Family Kitchen Living was founded in 2019 by a group of Stockholm-based parents and professional organizers who recognized a common challenge: even in beautifully designed Scandinavian homes, family kitchens often descended into chaos.

We realized that traditional organization advice rarely addressed the unique dynamics of family life—multiple users of different ages and heights, competing schedules, and the constant flow of meal preparation, eating, and cleanup.

Drawing on Scandinavian design principles of simplicity, functionality, and natural beauty, we developed systems specifically for the beautiful chaos of family kitchens.
